Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1993 and in the same year itself department has startedoffering 4 year B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering with an intake of 60. The major strength of the department is highly qualified and experienced faculty with specialization in main areas of computer science and engineering and information technology.
Department of Mechanical Engineering offers 4 year B.Tech degree course in Mechanical engineering and M.Tech course in Thermal and fluid power Engineering. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering was one among the 4 courses started when the college was established in 1993. P.G Course started in the year 2012. The Department has recorded a consistent growth over the years.
The department is well stabilized with vibrant faculty members and well setup laboratories. Highly qualified staff and skilled supporting staff, whom are dedicated to work are strength of department. The staff members are involved day to day college activities and carries out consultancy works in electrical field with active involvement from students.

Department of IT offers undergraduate programmes in Information Technology andMaster of Computer Application programme.The effective use of IT is a major component of economic growth and innovation.Since its inception in the year 2000, the department has progressed rapidly to keep pace withthe needs of the time and is now regarded as one of the premiere departments.
The Department of Civil Engineering pulls out all halts to mould outstanding Engineers. The Civil Engineering discipline has been offered with annual intake of 60 at LBS college of engineering Kasaragod right from 2008. The department has an outstanding track record and has consistently produce CivilEngineering Graduates of exceptional quality and calibre.
